Tentative Tackle and Flag Football Schedule for 2012

Tackle Football (4-6th Grade) for 2012

Registration deadline: Sunday, July 29, 2012 

Tackle Practice without pads: 4 hours per week for 2 weeks. August 3-15. Exact dates, times and locations to be announced at a later day. Bring a water bottle.

Tackle Coaches' USA Football On Line Training: Mandatory for all new sideline coaches before 8-1; assistants deadline 8-20.

Tackle Coaches' Meeting: Mandatory. Thursday, August 2nd, 7-9 pm located at R.I.S.D. Academy, 13630 Coit Rd., Dallas, TX

Tackle Football Equipment Issuance: August 16, 17 or 18 at SVAA. Coach will have exact date and time.

Practice: Begins week of August 20

Controlled Scrimmages and Jamboree: Saturday, August 25th at JJ Pearce High School

Games: First game begins Saturday, September 1

Playoffs: November 10, 13

Super Bowl: Saturday, November 17

Equipment Return: Saturday, November 17th and Super Bowl players return equipment on Saturday, December 1st.

Flag Football (1-3rd Grade) for 2012

Flag Coaches' Meeting: Thursday August 30th @ RISD Academy 6:00 pm

Practice: Begins after Thursday, August 30th

Games: First game begins Saturday, September 8th

Flag playoffs: Weekend of November 10th

Flag Super Bowl: Saturday, November 17th

Equipment Return: Saturday, November 17th and Super Bowl coaches return equipment on Saturday, December 1st
